Jeanie Marie Buss has been an American Entrepreneur for more than 20 years. she is the current president and owner-controller of the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. A California born Buss has been raised by an extremely wealthy family. Jerry Buss' father was an entrepreneur in real estate who later owned the Lakers as well as various other sports organizations. After her parents divorced in 1972, she began to feel emotionally abandoned. At 19 years old, she joined the family's business, serving as general manager for the Los Angeles Strings professional tennis team. In the following years, she created the Los Angeles Blades roller hockey professional team. She was president of the Great Western Forum before assuming the position of vice-president of the Lakers. Buss was the inheritor of Lakers ownership Lakers through her father's estate in the year 2013. The five siblings she had were the inheritors through a family estate trust. Buss was elected president of the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss is co-owner of Women of Wrestling an pro-wrestling promotion company that is based in Los Angeles.
